I wasn't confident enough to wear sleeve less clothes because I didn't wanna show my arms. Then, in recent years, I have only found cute clothes without sleeves. It was a huge problem at first, but I finally gave up and decided to give it a try. Since a lot of people support "all kinds of body shapes are beautiful" in the US (in Oregon), I think I was more comfortable to make this decision than if I were in Japan.

As I said, this was one of the "cute clothes without sleeves." I felt like I just found a hidden treasure when I found this tops in tons of other clothes... haha

Since the top was girlish, I wore a bit more casual and boyish stuff than the top for rest of my outfit this time
. Hm... not that bad. I think I am enjoying trying this on! Isn't it the most important thing? ; fashion is supposed to make you happy and help to enjoy the time, right? I guess I overcame my fear of showing my arms a little bit. haha

I love the balance of a little girly and a little boyish.
I also love the combination of black and white.

Outfit for ZOO

I wrote about Oregon Zoo the other day ^^ Did you read it already?

I wore a new and old dress for the Zoo trip. I meant ... I bought this dress a long time ago. I thought it was sooo cute when I bought it... + it was a great deal too. BUT, but, I couldn't have figured out how to wear ever since it came to my place. (;^;) sad!! Don't you have this kinda problem?

So, I tried it on for the Zoo trip :D

Wedding Day

Have you been to a wedding? Fortunately, believe it or not, I have been invited to attend weddings some times in the US. I get a bit emotional when my important people find a perfect match & get married. The other day, I went to my friend's BEAUTIFUL wedding. It's definitely NOT My Wedding. Sorry if I made you get excited or confused. m(_ _)m Anyhow, I was so excited for her more and more as the wedding date got closer, but I was also so sad that I had to miss a lot of it. In American culture, it is rude to be late for the wedding (same as Japanese culture). I asked her and other my friends what is the best thing I can do for her. My best friend said "She invited you. Which means that she obviously wants you to be there. It'll make her more sad if you don't show up than if you are late. It's rude, but at least, she knows that you care." ...What a word.. Although I felt really bad to get there really late, I am very grateful that I could congratulate her and celebrate one of her happiest moments of her life.
NOTE : I strongly recommend you to talk with the person who invites you at first about this issue. It is your dear friend's "the most important day."

The wedding was just so pretty. The theme was Hawaiian. All the decorations were handmade, creative, and lovely. I felt like I was in "3D Pinterest." I couldn't "pin" everything, so I took some pictures to share with you guys.

She is one of the loveliest people I have ever known in my life. You know, people say "she is gorgeous inside and out. She is really the one who is beautiful and gorgeous inside and out. I thought she was an Angel and had some wings on her back when she walked towards me to say hi. I know it sounds pretty ridiculous, but I hope this is describing you how sweet she is. I just wanted the world to know this^^

(The Navy blue is my favorite color + A line dress is my favorite too. It has fuzzy flowers all over the dress. It's just so pretty! I fell in love with this dress immediately. So, it was a little pricey for me as a student, but I had to get it.. :'( sorry, wallet. haha)

Seriously, isn't a wedding almost a magical event?

On this Earth, in millions or billions of people, we meet a person. Then, the person falls in love with you! The person feels the same way about you as you feel about the person.. :O wow.. Then, we promise to love each other and be together for rest of our lives happily in front of all the other people.. WOW... like WOW!
I think Wedding is a magical event which also makes everybody fulfill with a lot of happiness and love.

Spring is HERE!

I have been having such relaxed days since Spring break started :) I guess I had been stressed out with my final exams and projects, so I have been having a little weird health condition now. Luckily, I didn't plan any trips during the break, so I get to relax as much as I can. Because I have so much time now, I was reading my latest blog posts and noticed that I don't have pictures of me whereas other bloggers post their selfies and their own pictures on every single posts. (I feel awkward taking 'selfies'..) So, I met up with my bestfriend/"sister" and took some photos under the beautiful cherry blossom trees! Oregon is still cold. It was very windy, cold, and rainy, so it wasn't the best day to take pictures outside. Oh well, this is Oregon :D

My favorite part of this dress is the baby pink bow. This dress actually didn't come with the pretty bow. One of my mom's hair accessories was getting old, so we just got the bow part from the accessory and sawed it on this dress. Now, it looks very adorable and Springy! I think it's very important to look good from the front and the back as well. You got an old hair accessory and a very simple dress? Well, make it cuter in your own way!

I had a pair of shoes that goes perfect with this outfit. However, since my toe was hurting a bit, I had to wear very comfortable ones which also have bows.

Top 10 favorites from my closet

I've seen some bloggers who have shared their top 10 favorites from their closet. What a great idea (*´▽｀*)!! This would be very fun to do on Smile With Vivian. It was a little challenge to pick only 10 from my closet. Howeveeeer, since my maxi dresses are too long to hang up, I couldn't take pics of them (;_;) sad.. I'm going to introduce you.. my top 8 favorites from my closet.

•  Left : Forever 21 Chiffon Dress ♪  - My favorite color & material for clothes (chiffon & dark blue). I wore it for my favorite day of the year = Christmas day!!
• Middle : T.J.Maxx Summer Dress ♪ - Polka dots & laces are my favorite! A gift by one of my professors☆ just realized that I put my pics with this dress on my blog too much! ha
• Right : Chiffon Dress from Japan ♪ - Chiffon & dark blue again! I wore it to Idaho... it somehow got ripped a bit, but I fixed it. That's how much I really love this dress.

• Black party dress from local shop ♪- this is my motivation of controlling my weight.
• Kohl's Peplum top ♪- the back is the cutest part which I will show you when I wear it :) hehe Peplum style helps my stomach to hide really well. aannd I love that!! (^^)
• White lace top from friend♪- I like the combination of white stuff & jeans so much. girly + lace makes perfection.
• Polka dots & Red vintage style top from Japan ♪- I just love it! I love that every button is different. It's very cute and very unique.
• Forever 21 Striped dress ♪- I love the ribbon on the back which you can kind of see.

Instead of the 2 maxi dresses, I decided to introduce a little bit of my socks obsession ( *´v｀*) tadaaa!! "2 adorable pairs of socks"

• Left : Bear in the honey + base from Japan ♪ - look at the ears! toe socks! Oh gosh.. the cutest socks I've ever seen!
• Right : Santa socks from Walgreen ♪ - super random to meet this socks at Walgreen! Christmas stuff makes me nuts! Extremely cute!!

Mini Spring Hauls

Why is it "Mini" Spring Hauls? It's because it'll be a very long post if I introduce all the products that I bought. So.. just a sneak peak for you ('ω')ノ" My shopping style is not like I buy tons of stuff at the same store. I like to buy few stuff here and there. I like to go here and there and here again. Guys, please don't make fun of us that girl's shopping takes forever. To be a good shopper, we need to...

• observe what the workers are wearing
• what the trend of the season is like
• "compare prices (very important!)"
• "compare clothes"
• try clothes in the fitting room to give a final judgment

It's not our fault that we spend a long time for shopping. It's just that there are many fantastic stuff that we need to go through. Shopping is like a war. We fight with hundreds of attractive clothes. We use lots of energy & brain. Support us, love us, Guys! (≧∇≦*)(*≧∇≦)

I am a bit over obsessed with floral stuff. I have many many floral stuff in my closets. Aaaand I got some more. Don't you have similar experience? Like.. you realize that you have many clothes that look very similar.

• White formal dress (US$15ish) : So beautiful party dress! Very soft. This dress shows the body line very well, but the vivid flowers catch viewers attention more + the length is not too short & not too long (it comes to my knees). So it's not just a "sexy party dress". I can wear this to everywhere from  fancy places to casual parties. I'm excited!

• Chiffon dress(US$15ish) : My favorite fabric and My favorite color of clothes  The Cutest part is that the second layer has a different design (smaller flowers)!!

Local Vintage Shop

• Floral laptop case(US$26) : This adorable thing saves my laptop's life! I always drop my laptop or hit it somewhere, it breaks very quickly (o'H'o) Be tough, Mrs. laptop! Anyway, this is very useful not only to save its life, but also to put a little accent to my fashion (^^) It's like a gorgeous accessory.

Local Clothing Store

• Maxi dress (US$20) : The beautiful lace comes all the way down to my lower back. I wasn't gonna buy it, but I couldn't forget about it for couple days. 3days later, I went back to store. This was still there, so I got this! It was a "must"! I wore it for 6months aniv & impressed Garfy. Definitely my favorite summer dress.

• Flat shoes (US$8) : Super Cute! This color & style goes with every casual fashion style.

Bath and Body Work

• Body Soaps (US$11 each) : Bath&Body had wonderful deal combination; "buy 3 get 2 free" + "buy $30 get 20% off" + "free shipping." Everything smells very very great! I'll talk about them individually in my next blog! I want to use these products at least once and tell you how these worked:) so that you guys can get more ideas of which is what, right?

Rite Aid

My boyfriend took a pic of my funny face the other day. I thought I was doing pretty good funny face, but it turned out that I have many wrinkles around my eyes!! Am I that old now!? + the sun beam causes us to have more wrinkles. SUMMER! I wanna go outside, but I am scared!

Let's begin from the left (´・ω・｀)

1. Honey Sleeping Pack from South Korea
Summer's mom gave me! (Summer = my best friend) It smells fruity, honey, wonderful, & sweet (but not rich). When I apply it on my face and sleep with it for Only 2days in a row... my face! my face gets super smooth! It's miracle.

2. Moroccan Oil : Moroccan Argan Oil
from Organix. I also have shampoo & conditioner that go with it. They were 1 of my X'mas presents last year. Since Moroccan oil seems to become famous, I finally opened it. I apply it on my hair every morning after taking a shower. It leaves a pretty good smell on my hair! It's not too greasy which is great for me because I don't like my hair to look oily. Since I use many products for my very damaged hair, so it's so hard to see which one affects my hair better... so I can't really say anything like this has worked the best(`･⊝･´)

3. Shower Gel : Frosted Snowberry US$11
from Bath & Body Works. This is for me!
"Blue + Christmas + Fruity smell + dog = ME" (｡◕ ∀ ◕｡)
This is a combination of all of my favorite things! This makes my shower time great★

4. Lotion US$25ish

from CLINIQUE. I think this works perfect for my skin type. I apply this, only one push at a time, twice a day after washing my face. Very strong fragrance products make me feel sick. So this fragrance free lotion is great! I tried its travel sized one & I liked it, so I got this bigger one!

5. Body butter "Carried Away" US$15
from Bath & Body Works again. The floral smell is not very strong but lasts for a long time! My legs usually get dry, so I have to put body lotion at least twice a day. But with this one, I only need once in the morning. That's it! My legs are still very soft with the soft floral smell in the evening too! Amazing!

6. Dress
*My favorite NEW dress* sorry for wrinkles. I ironed it just now.. I guess I need to do it again:( Anyway, when I saw this dress, I fell in love with it immediately. Very summery, girly, sexy, a bit vintage shape... (^_^) The dress comes down to my knees, so it's not too sexy which I love about this dress. It's bigger than the size I normally wear, but ..... the next moment, I realized that I was paying at the cashier. Luckily, I haven't regretted that yet. I'll post a pic of myself next time so that you can see how long it is on me.

7. Movie : Howl's Moving Castle
Howl: "you are beautiful"
Can somebody tell me that if I happened to look really old now? please? It's a romantic story of a wizard without a heart who exchanged a contract with a devil and a girl whom a witch made to an old woman. Though, I've watched it several times, Howl always takes my heart whenever I watch it. It's one of the Studio Ghibli movies by Hayao Miyazaki from Japan. His movies are always made by such unique concepts with the beautiful art touch and beautiful music. My friend, Garfy & I are doing Studio Ghibli movie marathon every Saturday!

Hola, everyone:) This is my 1st post & 1st blog. Are you excited? I am excited!! x)) I'm not really good at writing in English, but I hope blogging can help me improve my writing skill. but anyway, Goshhh!! The weather is super nice here! Weather never really influenced my mood before I came here.
